Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor Serra Bucak attended the reception hosted by Nagasaki Mayor Shiro Suzuki for the Mayors for Peace meeting.

Co-Mayor Bucak, who is in Japan to take part in the “80th Anniversary Commemoration of the Hiroshima Tragedy” and the “General Conference of Mayors for Peace” in Nagasaki, continued her engagements.

She attended the Mayors for Peace reception hosted by Nagasaki Mayor Shiro Suzuki. At the reception, Bucak discussed the importance of peace in the Middle East and the world with Ranjdar Mohammed Azeez, Jaza Ali Toufig, Barzan R. Jalil and Muhammed Hama Sharif, who joined the programme from Halabja and Sulaymaniyah.

Co-Mayor Bucak was accompanied at the event by Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Council Member Umut Aytaş.
