Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor, Serra Bucak, met with a delegation from Switzerland visiting the city for the Newroz celebrations.

Co-Mayor Bucak welcomed the delegation, which included Yves Henz, a member of Zurich Municipal Council, and Felicitas Fischer, an academic at ETH Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, who came to Diyarbakır for the Newroz celebrations.

During the meeting, the delegation conveyed their messages of solidarity. The discussions focused on sharing experiences of local governance, opportunities for international solidarity, and the role of civil society.
